Commercialised and redefined.
I'm just a product
you're in control
your latest need
The code you want
To set me on
Just flick my switch
Start your search engine
To download me!
Rip me and then burn me
You can't get enough of me
Encoded in your dreams
You want to download me.
Play me now
I'm yours to keep
I won't get tired
I'm on repeat
I'll drain your power
Suck it dry
I'll never stop
Until you die.
I'm in your head now
I won't let go
I'll waste your brain
All that you know
I'm like a virus
Infect your drives
Compressed, processed
And recompiled.
Rip me and then burn me
You can't get enough of me
Encoded in your dreams
You want to download me.
Rip me and then burn me
You can't get enough of me
Encoded in your dreams
You want to download me.
انه الله الاحد الله الصمد لم يلد لم يولد لم يكن له كفوا احد
I’ve been pulling my feet through the dirt
I’ve been dragging the depths
Looking for something I had lost
No more mulling the past and the hurt
No I did not deserve
Turn away but at what cost
Feeling the strength of the below
Tides getting low, turn back the boat
What do you do
To help yourself through
The sifting of the pieces of a broken soul
But then there’s you
Helped me to come to
With lighting up the shallows of this empty hole
What do you do
To help yourself through
I’m scarred and still bruised from the endless fight
But then there’s you
Helped me to come to
So I grabbed your hand you helped me back to light
Tore the page of a book
That was only half read
How was I ever gonna learn
The mirror gave me a rage of a look
Grabbed my heart and it shook
Closed my eyes until you returned
Feeling the strength of the unknown
Feels like my feet are stuck in stone
What do you do
To help yourself through
The sifting of the pieces of a broken soul
But then there’s you
Helped me to come to
With lighting up the shallows of this empty hole
What do you do
To help yourself through
I’m scarred and still bruised from the endless fight
But then there’s you
Helped me to come to
So I grabbed your hand you helped me back to light
You helped me back to light
Felt like I was walking the edge of a knife
A shark’s eye watching me and ready to strike
But it takes just one moment to get back to light
To get back to the Light.

LET US RUIN YOUR DAY!
Both Marko and I were glad to see the great response to last week's mini-tease. While it's not the full-length album so many expected and hoped for, I hope you will enjoy these new mixes!
🎧 ANGEL AND THE BEAST (RUINED MIX)
One of the first songs we ever wrote, "Angel and the Beast" is perhaps a tune you have never heard. We had initially envisioned the first track on our debut album - no, it wasn't "Hrs:Min:Sec," which so many people mistakenly believe to be our first release - as a hard house-inspired club stomper, the kind of stuff that you would play at Cyberdog in London.
The only issue is that, at the time, we were utterly clueless about how to create music of this nature. Now, after a full twenty years have passed, we have at long last given it the aural shape that previously only existed in our heads.
🎧 DOWNLOAD ME (DJ GEOFF LEE MIX)
This remix is a mystery of sorts: why has something so good remained buried in our hard drives for 15 years?
Geoff Lee is, of course, the mastermind of Modulate, and a Modulate remix of this song appeared on the compilation Cryonica Tanz Vol.5 in 2008. However, this one is a substantially bouncier and more euphoric mix, and it was released on Italy's :Ritual: Magazine's promo cd. Due to its relatively limited distribution, very few people have heard of it.
Up until today, of course.
🎧 BACK TO LIGHT (PEOPLE THEATRE SPARKLE MIX)
Our good friend and long-time supporter Peter produced this remix when we released the stems for our surprise track from 2 years ago, and added his own unique touch to it.
We love it, and you will too.
